Kingman Kut-Ups

We started our new beginner’s classes on Sept 21st, and are very happy with the  nearly 2 squares of new dancers. We have a much larger group this year, and are having a wonderful time with them as they learn all the new moves and experience all the fun of dancing square!

On November 11th, Mike Wilder will be calling our Honor our Veterans dance. Sure hope to have some visitors to help celebrate this dance. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, our second dance this month will be DARK.

Guest caller, Gordy Oseth (Lake Havasu City, AZ) will be returning to call for us at our annual Toys 4 Tots dance on December 9th and it promises to be a really fun dance! Please bring new, unwrapped toys for donation to the local Marine Corps League. All toys will support the Marine Corps Reserve annual Toys 4 Tots Program. Anyone bringing a toy will receive half off the donation price at the door.

Our 4th Saturday in December dance will be DARK due to the holiday.

Our annual New Year’s Eve dance on Dec 31st with Mike Wilder calling will be the first dance our class are invited to. We’re really hoping to have a great turnout again for this celebration. Location for this dance is subject to change, but is scheduled right now for St. John’s United Methodist Church, 1730 Kino Ave, and it will be a buffet dinner starting at 7:30, dancing from 8 to 11 pm. Some things about  this dance remain in ‘flux’, but flyers are being posted as currently scheduled. Changes will be made if necessary as the new information becomes available.

Our first dance in January is on Saturday, January 13, 2018 and is our Halfway Dance. Please come support our class and bring your class for an opportunity to socialize and dance to a different caller. Mike Wilder will be calling this dance, but if you bring your caller he will be given the opportunity to call also. This is a great opportunity for everyone to support all of our new dancers!

Coming up – remember to register early for our Route 66 Jamboree on April 28, 2018. Early bird registrants do get a small discount so it’s worthwhile to do it now. Watch for flyers as information becomes available.

WE WISH EVERYONE A WONDERFUL, BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S THIS YEAR! Come visit, we (eventually) return all visits!
