Kingman Kut-Ups

The Kingman  Kut-Ups have been dark for the entire summer, but now we’re looking forward to enjoying the cooler weather. Mike did teach  his annual Summer Plus Class, but we finished it in July, giving all those that traveled a break – and Mike too!  Yes – it’s been a GREAT summer!

We’ll be starting our new beginner’s classes on THURSDAY, September 21st at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 1730 Kino Ave, Kingman - this location we’ll be using for CLASS ONLY (normally). We’re hoping for a great turnout, and have been busy collecting names of people interested, and contacting those that have dropped out for various reasons. Kudos to all our great club members that are beating the bushes to find potential new dancers!   We’ve been getting great feedback from our advertising and personal contacts so really looking forward to a great class this year.  This location is just a few blocks from our normal dance hall –– and is located just off of Stockton Hills Road (behind  Chase Bank).  If anyone has  questions, please contact Nancy at 928-530-8919

Our dances in September (normal location – Senior Nutrition Center) will be the Welcome Back on Sept 9th  (Mike Wilder calling) and the Rodeo Days dance on Sept 23rd (Ron Sowash, Las Vegas).

October dances scheduled are a October Fest (Mike Wilder calling) on October 14th. On October 28th you are all invited to join us as Ned Newberg, Las Vegas, calls our Halloween Dance (prizes for best costumes).

November will be another exciting month starting with our Honor Our Veterans/Food Bank dance on November 11th with Mike Wilder calling. On November 23rd we will be DARK  due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Coming up in December we’ll have our annual Toys 4 Tots dance on December 9th with Gordy Oseth (Lake Havasu City) calling. This is a great opportunity to donate new, unwrapped toys to make some kid’s Christmas happier so plan to join us please. As always, we will be DARK for the Christmas holiday, but we will be having our annual New Year’s Eve dance on December 31st. Watch for flyers for times and location.

We really hope everyone has had a wonderful summer; we’re really looking forward to seeing you all throughout the fall and winter! Best wishes to all for a great class this year.
